Jon Britton is a NYC native, current resident of San Francisco, CA, and terrible at talking about himself, especially self advocacy.

WHAT?

I'm currently employed by the California Academy of Sciences as Senior Systems Engineer and Production Engineering Manager for A/V and Electronics Engineering and Science Visualization.

WHO, or should I say WHOM

Besides the "analog" listing to the right, you'll find me at various science / engineering group meetings, volunteering all over the Bay Area (and internet,) and in the bike lanes. My altruistic interests include issues of class and social justice, and education reform. I've been vegan since 1997.

I am a voting member of IEEE-SA, a non-voting member of AAAS and APS, a board member of the Lifeboat Foundation, and a frequent participant in burgeoning technology groups.

In my spare time, I write fiction and scathing non-fiction, design interactive art, and fight my rescue bunny, Tesla, over dried cranberries.
